Update installer to not force DirectX Install

Please update the installer so that it will detect if DirectX is already installed and skip the install if not needed.

There is really no reason to constantly reinstall Directx…

    Hi there,

    I just wanted to update this that as of 13.21 the installer will no longer install DirectX for every install, and will instead check to see if you have it installed.

    Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts on the DirectX installation process. We completely understand that repeatedly installing DirectX can feel unnecessary, especially for users who keep their systems updated.

    That said, there are a few key reasons why our installer currently includes this step. While skipping the DirectX installation might seem like a simple optimization, ensuring that all users have the correct, fully functional version of DirectX is critical for avoiding compatibility issues. Detecting and verifying DirectX installations with 100% reliability is not as straightforward as it may seem, and skipping the installation could introduce new issues—potentially preventing some users from launching the application at all.

    Given that the existing process takes only a few seconds and ensures a smooth experience for all users, we’ve determined that the trade-off of adding more complexity and potential risk isn’t justified at this time. We always appreciate feedback and suggestions and would love to hear if others in the community feel strongly about this.
