Context-Aware Disc Swap Menu

📋Summary

Only display the “Swap Discs” option in the pause menu when a game has multiple discs.

❗Problem

Currently, the “Swap Discs” option appears for all games when the swap script is enabled—even single-disc titles. This adds unnecessary clutter and confusion.

💡Proposal

Automatically hide the “Swap Discs” option unless the selected game is recognized as a multi-disc title.

✅Benefits

  • Cleaner pause menu

  • Avoids user confusion

  • Aligns with existing metadata detection for disc counts

I was shocked this wasn’t already a feature. Simply entering a disc swap script for retroarch causes the menu item to appear in pause for all systems, even cartridge based systems. At the very least, a toggle to show/hide by system would be a good start if fleshing out a fully context aware option is a significant effort. Or a toggle for each game, that we could bulk edit to indicate a game is multi-disc and thus to show the option in pause.
