Gallery Sorting Order
Sort the games in the proper order, Disc 2 always shows before Disc1
If not combined into 1 game
(aranged by Title) & (arange by Source) & (arange by Launchbox Database ID)
Not always, sorry, 90% of the time.
- Bonus discs appear before the main game.
- Disc 4 appear before disc 3
- Demo appear before main version
Example:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - Battle Nexus (USA) (Disc2).rvz
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - Battle Nexus (USA) (Disc 1).rvz
Example 2:
Alice Dreams Tournament (USA) (Disc 2) (Unl).cue
Alice Dreams Tournament (USA) (Disc 1) (Unl).cue
Example 3:
D2 (USA) (Disc 2).cue
D2 (USA) (Disc 1).cue
D2 (USA) (Disc 4).cue
D2 (USA) (Disc 3).cue
Example 4:
NBA 07 (Demo)
NBA 07 (USA)
Furthermore:
When combining many versions of a game like
Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine Demo Disc 1 to 112 , when we click “Play version” the menu only shows “Play USA version” without the rest of the name of the game making it impossible to actually know which one we’re picking, would be good to show the entire name in the “Play version” contextual menu.
This would make our library look better by avoiding the clutter of 100+ versions, combining them is definitely the way forward, in my opinion.

PinnedHi there!
Thanks for reaching out with this detailed feedback on disc sorting and combining different game versions. To better understand your issue, could you let me know where specifically you're seeing the disc order being incorrect? Is this occurring in additional apps, or somewhere else within LaunchBox? Your insights will really help us get to the root of this and improve the experience.
Looking forward to your response!

Hi,
the disc order being incorrect is within Launchbox itself, in the platforms.
Gamecube, Dreamcast and other platforms.
I went and looked into Windows explorer and the order is fine within Windows explorer itself, it’s uniquely in Launchbox. Here’s a screenshot, I selected the first of 4 Disc and as you can see.
When using search the order of the discs is 4-3-1-2
When NOT using search the order of the discs is 2-1-4-3 (same as the examples in my original post).
The problem remain the same either I use Launchbox in fullscreen or in a reduced window size (like in my screenshot).
Using search, first disc is 4
Not using search the first disc is 2
The order is fine in windows explorer, I do not use other apps.
Thank you.
