❗Problem

Currently, users must navigate into settings to verify or change the status of MAME’s online hi-score upload functionality. This is inconvenient, especially for users who alternate between MAME configurations — for example:

• One version with cheats and save states enabled (ideal for practice or casual play, but disallowed for hi-score uploads)

• Another version configured for legitimate gameplay, where uploading scores is expected

There’s no easy way to tell at a glance which mode is active, increasing the risk of unintentionally uploading scores from a non-legitimate session.

💡Proposal

• Add a small toggle button or indicator on the main LaunchBox interface that displays whether online hi-score uploads are currently enabled for MAME.

• Clicking the toggle would enable/disable the feature without needing to dive into settings.

• (Optional) Tie this setting to specific emulator profiles so users can have preset “score upload” or “training” modes.
