Allow custom fields for platforms

For games, you can add custom metadata fields, which is a great feature. Unfortunately, this is not currently possible with platforms. Please could we have custom metadata fields for platforms.

Some examples of the fields that I would add: generation (I find generation a very useful way to categorise consoles/platforms); region (some platforms were released in a specific geographical region); controller type; romset.

Alternatively, if it’s a lot easier, adding generation and region to the standard list of platform metadata fields would be a next-best option.
