Skip Bezel Project During Media Downloads

šŸ“‹ Summary

Add a global option to automatically skip the Bezel Project step during game media downloads for users who don’t use bezels, speeding up the overall download workflow.

šŸŽÆ Feature Overview

  • New toggle in Tools → Options → Media (or Media Downloader settings):

    ā€œSkip Bezel Project downloadsā€

  • When enabled, LaunchBox/Big Box bypasses the Bezel Project prompt/step during media downloads (single game, bulk, and import flows).

  • Persist this preference across sessions and apply it consistently in all download contexts.

šŸ›  Example Use Case

A user who doesn’t use bezels bulk-downloads images and videos for a large platform. With the skip option enabled, the media wizard no longer pauses for Bezel Project selection, reducing clicks and total time.

šŸ“¦ Benefits

  • ⚔ Faster, smoother media download workflows.

  • 🧹 Fewer prompts for users who don’t use bezels.

  • šŸ” Consistent behavior across single/bulk/import media operations.

šŸ’” Notes

If Bezel Project is re-enabled later, the wizard should restore the step without requiring reconfiguration elsewhere.

Yes, very good idea for the many users who don’t use bezels.
