Add 240Hz Frame Rate Option in Big Box
📋 Summary
Expand Big Box’s frame rate settings to include a 240Hz option, allowing users with high-refresh-rate displays to take full advantage of their hardware for smoother navigation and animations.
🎯 Feature Overview
Add 240Hz to the list of available frame rate options under:
Big Box > Options > Visuals > Frame Rate Limit
Ensure transitions, wheel animations, and video playback remain synced and stable at higher refresh rates.
Optionally detect and highlight when a connected display supports 240Hz to avoid confusion.
🛠 Example Use Case
A user with a 240Hz gaming monitor runs Big Box on a high-end PC.
Currently, the maximum selectable frame rate is 200Hz, preventing full use of their display’s capabilities.
Enabling a 240Hz setting provides smoother scrolling, transitions, and input responsiveness.
📦 Benefits
Improved smoothness for users with high-refresh displays.
Enhanced responsiveness in UI animations and controller input.
Future-proofing for modern hardware and display standards.
💡 Notes
As more gaming monitors and handheld devices adopt 240Hz (and beyond), adding support helps Big Box stay optimized for current and upcoming hardware.

240 hz option in Big Box
Currently the frame rate options only go up to 200. A 240 fps option would be nice for those of us using 240hz monitors.
