⬇️ Download and Configure

LaunchBox downloads BigPEmu from the official BigPEmu site and extracts it to LaunchBox\Emulators\BigPEmu.

After the emulator files are in place, LaunchBox points the emulator profile to BigPEmu.exe and associates it with supported Atari Jaguar platforms.

🔄 Update and Reinstall

LaunchBox can check the current available BigPEmu version and install it when setting up or refreshing the emulator.

When updating or reinstalling an existing BigPEmu entry, LaunchBox updates the emulator application path so the profile continues to point at BigPEmu.exe.

⚙️ LaunchBox Emulator Profile

LaunchBox creates a ready-to-use BigPEmu profile for Atari Jaguar and Atari Jaguar CD, associates both platforms, and can make it their default emulator.

The profile enables startup screen support, hides the mouse cursor during play, and keeps emulator data local to the installation. A short startup delay gives BigPEmu time to initialize cleanly.

BigPEmu does not support bezel downloads through The Bezel Project. At present, this capability is limited to specific emulator integrations such as RetroArch and MAME.
